Math Test Chapter 4
The test on chapter 4 will be on Monday, December 15th for 9E and Tuesday, December 16th for 9F. Sections to be covered on the test include: 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.5, and 4.7. As well, review your exponent laws from chapter 1 as they are included in many of the monomial problems.

You will be having a quiz on Tuesday, November 18th on square roots, exponents, and scientific notation.
On Monday, November 24, you will have a test on all the content covered in Chapter 1! This includes Set Notation. You will be doing an assignment, as well as additional review questions, to prepare for this. Let's work hard and make this test count! Positive thinking!

Upcoming Math Test
There will be a test on everything covered up to date (and BEDMAS with fractions to be done this week) by the end of this week or early next week. Start preparing :)
Fraction Quiz
There will be a "re-quiz" on Tuesday! Some things to remember:
1. You only need a common denominator when you are adding or subtracting fractions.
2. Remember to change all division to multiplying by the reciprocal.
3. Always simplify. Never leave your answer as an improper fraction.
4. Be carefuly with positive/negative mixed numbers when adding/subtracting. They can be tricky!

Math Autobiography (homework) Due Date: September 12, 2008
I would like you to write your math autobiography. It is to be 2 pages, double-spaced, 12pt font, Times New Roman, typed report. What are your memories of math? Take me on a journey through your experience with math up until this point.
